Intel 82573L Gigabit Support? (PCI-Express)

I just picked up a MSI Industrial Mini-ITX board that supports mobile Intel processors (Core 2 Duo/Solo/Celeron M) and uses the 945GM notebook chipset.

It has 3 on-board Intel 83573L gigabit ethernet ports (connected via the PCI Express bus) and I was wondering if these are supported in either ASG 6.304 or ASG 7.***?
  
This should be a great board for ASG installs that have a decent load if the gigabit controllers are supported. 

I'm currently going to use this as a web & file server, but would be interested in deploying it at a later date as an ASG.  
The PD-10000 is noticeably slower & laggy with v7.***, although the EN-15000 works fairly well.  

Also, you can't beat the price on these.  The board was about $180, and with a 1.73Ghz Celeron M (1MB L2 cache), this setup was the exact same price as the fastest Via EPIA board (EX-15000G or EN-15000).

    Although I can't comment on the 82573L chipset I tried running one of the newer dual-port PCI-Express cards from Intel (83573L) and although it worked for most functions in ASG 6.3xx it was not permitting IPSec traffic through. 

    Astaro QA told me there was a better chance of it working on v7 due to updated Kernel but since it was not in the hardware list they could not guarantee it.

    I did some searching on-line and found that this gigabit controller is in the IBM T60/X60 series and it has kernel support in at least 2.6.16 and newer if the e1000 driver is enabled.  

    I therefore assume the Intel 8253L should work in 7.02 since I think the base kernel is 2.6.16-29.

    The kernel versions in ASG:
    V6 2.6.10

    V7 2.6.16

    So based on version it would seem that V7 should work.

    I got the mini-itx system all put together tonight and took it for a spin using Vista Ultimate.  It worked very well and was quit snappy, even using the on-board graphics.

    I also went through the first 3 install steps for ASG 7.002.  I might test out a full install next week, but I don't feel like swapping HDD's right now.  I'll probably wait until the backup import from 6.304 to 7.002 is complete before upgrading as it would take hours to manually carry over all the settings to this new machine.

    All hardware was detected and identified correctly:

    Processor: Celeron 430 @ 1.73Ghz 1MB (Intel 945GM chipset)
    Hard Drive: Samsung SpinPoint 160GB SATA (thru Intel ICH7M South Bridge)
    DVD/CD-ROM: Benq 1650 in USB 2.0 external case (first time I've gotten the external to work with ASG)
    Ethernet:  Micro-Star International 82573L Gigabit Ethernet

    I was kind of surprised to see that MSI inserted their name into the hardware ID strings.  I assume Vista and Linux have a different way of calling the hardware, as in Vista, the gigabit adapters are all auto-recognized and installed as "Intel(R) PRO/1000 PL Network Connection."
