Which version of ASG for my hardware?

Hi,

I have two questions regarding the Astaro products:

1)
I have an old IBM eServer xSeries 230 here, with 512 megabytes of RAM.
I want to use Astaro in a VM, using VMwareServer. I use CentOS 4.4 for the host system and I just need Astaro for filtering purposes.
I want to try V7, but I'm not sure if it is possible and recommendable.
Am I supposed to use V5 or would it be better to use V6?
I have already used an old PII with 256 megabytes of RAM and it worked (even it was slow).

Is it possible to use Astaro with two virtual NICs pointing to my wireless LAN adapter?

     Don't use v7.  Stick with v6 expecially when virtualizing under p-3's or older p-4's.

     ASL ver 5 is not as efficiently coded as ver 6. The Webadmin is far more sluggish, especially on slower CPUs. Your best bet is to install ver 6.3
