New Pattern not installing automatically

ASG 7.002 does a poor job of explaining that (in up2date) the current pattern version does not need to = the latest available pattern file in order for up2date to be working properly AND have the latest patterns....   Which is what it should say in the explanation text to the right.  Or a message below that says when the last up2date ran successfully to check.

If you are running some modules (and not every available module) a newer pattern can be released, but since the newer pattern does not contain updates for anythign you are using, up2date doesnt download/apply it.

I absolutely agree. We are planning a restructuring/rewording of the WebAdmin Up2Date page, but this still needs more work and time until it's finished.
As for now you can only see the time since the last pattern check right in the dashboard.
