I am trying to install V 7.02 on a Sun Fire X4100. A higher CPU is the only difference between the one I have than the one in the 7.0 HCL. Boot directly from the Astaro CD it recognizes all of the hardware. However, the BIOS creates a Virtual Floppy and CD. During the detection the floppy shows up first in the HDD list. (0 MB) The install does not continue because the first storage is 0 MB.
I have also downloaded the newest Server Assist CD (Linux) from Sun. After all of the initial Sun things are loaded is prompts the OS CD. It errors out due to Astaro being a non supported OS.
I was wondering if someone knows how to disable the AMI Virtual Floppy or if you can add an install option?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
