we have a multi-site/multi-VPN environment. Last year, we decided to buy a ASG525 (with the option to replace all firewalls with Astaro firewalls - about 15 now, 25 end of this year, still growing).
Two parties are involved: our provider, and an Astaro partner.
We are now in the uncomfortable situation that an error occurs, but only from time to time (with days of no error in between).
Astaro has already accepted to instantly start monitoring the traffic when the problem comes up next. We provided monitoring devices in different locations. But until now, they didn't: Astaro said that no resources were available to do the monitoring.
A symptom of the error is that users in one location don't have access to our central mailserver. We have a workaround, but we want to find the reason (and solve the problem).
So we have the choice to wait (and hope that Astaro at leaset tries to find the cause), while our users cannot access their mails, or to apply the workaround, and never find the solution...
My question: does anyone of you have similar experiences?
Btw: We have a platinum support contract.
