Installation Bug: hda1 not set Active

I just installed 7.001 on a PIII with a 20GB WD HD, 384MB RAM.

After rebooting, the BIOS said "no active partition".

I booted off a rescue CD (RIP) and set /dev/hda1 active, and that fixed the problem.

This was after a few failed installs (bad RAM, which I replaced before re-installing again), so maybe the installer got confused by the fact that the partition table was already there?
