Boot problem V7.....

Hello all,

I am trying to install v7 on a SATA drive (150 gb Raptor). I have set the BIOS to "Native IDE" and during install the drive is seen and partitioned etc... The install appears to go just fine.

When install is complete, I reboot the box and I get the error "No bootable device found,, press any key".

Any thoughts on how I can get around this problem? I would really like to try v7!

    What kind of motherboard chipset and/or SATA controller?

    ASUS with Nvidia chipset. I have tired all of the different options for the HD. None of them seem to work. Like I said, it finds the drive - then partittions / installs etc with no errors. When I reboot the system that is when it tells me it cannot find the drive. Wierd...

    Version 6.03 runs just great - no issues at all.

    Any other thoughts?? Thanks!
