Astaro V7 and VMware

Hello,

I had ASG V6 running just fine on VMware Server and I am in the process of installing ASG V7.  I want to do this in the most secure method possible.

Out of the box, this uses Ethernet as NAT and Ethernet 2 as Host-only.  Should I be able to configure ASG V7 to run on my network using this configuration?

Previously, I configured both connections as Custom and mapped these to my physical network cards but I am not sure this is the right way to do it.

I would appreciate any advice.

    Thanks for the reply. Just to confirm, you recommend using the custom network adapters connected to my physical adapters?

    I would be interested in finding out how each of the network options in VMware would work in relation to ASG.  Is there any relevant documentation available?  I am specifically interested in how Host-Only and NAT work.

    Sorry to hijack someones thread but the forum won't let me post my own.  I can't connect to the webpage or ping the address 192.168.150.5.  I have set the VM network addresses as the readme states.  Does anyone know what I am doing wrong...[:(]

    Following the instructions included with the installation, I never had a problem connecting to the ASG Virtual Machine.  Do make sure that you are running the web-browser on the same machine that VMware is installed.
