Hmmm...this is pretty bad. I've been a huge Astaro fan for 3+ years, but if they want to run with the big boys i.e. CHPT & Ci$co, they'd better make enterprise deployments easier. Just my 2 cents.
Seems they have pushed this back another month which is unfortunate. I am anxious to upgrade to v7, but there is simply no way I am going to manually transcribe the literally hundreds of settings/rules/etc.
If I was a guy at astaro with powers, I believe I would make this a priority. I am sure there are many many people like me who are waiting for this one feature.
I too am anxious to upgrade, I have 6 ASG 220's running v6 still, 2 running v5, and a bunch of 120s running v6.
However, my problem is that I don't believe even when they come out with the backup import feature, that they will import the vpn connections. This is a major beef for me, as my employer is a Managed Service provider, and we have over 60 tunnels coming off each firewall. Imagin trying to redo 6 years worth of vpn connections, PF fules, NAT, etc.

IMO the priority should be fixing all the major bugs in V7 first. No sense in allowing massing numbers of people to migrate when V7 is still too buggy for most to use in production.
