DSL, DNS, and Def GW

Just installed v7 of ASL. I was able to get DSL (pppoe) working, but I have a couple of questiions:

1. How do I send the DNS addresses to my local DHCP hosts? Do I have to manually enter the REAL ISP DNS Ip's into the DHCP pool config? Or does the Astaro FW work like a NAT Router (Linksys for example) where it gets the ISP's DNS and gives the local hosts its own address as the DNS server - making the DNS request on their behalf?

2. I have 3 Interfaces - one for my local LAN, one for my DSL (Internet), and one for an untrsuted segment (experimental). For each of those interfaces thee is a 'Default Gateway' check box. I know what  default gateway does, but not in this case. Should any of them be checked?

    1. You probably want to enable the DNS proxy on ASL, and then you can set the address of the Internal interface to be the DNS server in the DHCP server settings. Set the DNS proxy to use your ISP or other DNS servers.

    2. Only the external interface should have a default gateway set.
