Hi,  can you check if you have a link available (ethtool).  If you ping the box, does it show anything?

I see that I can send traffic but I do not recive anything fron time to time, suddenly I do for a short time.

I'll have a look at my switch, even if I set the interfaces the same the switch don't set the state to up correctly.

Don't plug more than one interface into the same switch.

Unfortuently it still do not work.
I only have one interface connected to the switch, for the moment that is the only interface I have connected to anything.

With tcpdump on another system I can see the arp-request from the astaro, but using tcpdump on the astaro only show its own traffic.

So from what I understand, I can sent traffic but not receive any, and I have tried several different cables, setting the interfaces to 10 Mbit/s HD and so on ;-)

You didn't by any chance just swap the GT card for the PT card using the same Astaro install?

Even though both cards use the same driver set, try doing a clean install of ASG 7.*** with the PT card installed and see if that resolves any issues.

to make things clearer, I have a blank machine with this card built in, I need to fresh install ASG anyways. The HCL shows the 1000PT card, but not the Quad, that is I was concerned about.
