Up2Date Errot "Invalid License"

Hello,

we are using the Astaro Security Software. Since the end of the last year the up2date do not download any updates for spam or anti-virus. When I start a manual update, the log shows an error message, for example "Pattern Up2Date for Authentium Virus Protection Pattern failed: Invalid License" or "Pattern Up2Date for Clamav Virus Protection Pattern failed: Invalid License".
I do not understand why our license shouöd be invalid, because it is valid till 31. Oct. 2007.

You are probably refering to your Base license. To use the up2date service, you also need either the "Astaro Up2Date" or one of the "Maintenance" license options.

Hi andreas,

do i need the up2date license for pattern updates for spam and anti-virus? From october 2006 to december 2006 the pattern update worked without problems.

Hi redmalte,

you need a valid "Maintenance" license.
If the license is not a Home-User license I suggest to contact the German support team to check the issue.
