Can`t reach Web - Interface

Hi there, i`m using the Home Licence for 1 year now ( 6.303 ) for over one year without problems. Now i start over to 7.x . After installing ( anything works fine ) i cant reach the webadministration ( yes i`m using 4444 ) Each time i try there is an timeout. When i have a look on the local machiene via net status, there is an error :

smb.conf missing.

So i take a look in the directory, there is only smb.conf-default.

The system is a p4 3. 0 with 1 gig of mem.

Rollif,
you need to be using either IE 7 or Firefox 1.5.x or 2.x.x.

Otherwise there is a very good chance the connections won't work.

Thanxx for your answer, but i try both :

XP with IE 6 & IE 7 + FF 2.0
and
Suse 10.1 with FF 1.5

The connection is also Ok, after reinstalling 6.3 anything works fine
