Unable to install on VIA EPIA-M C3 600 System

Hi,

I'm using ASG appiances for business
I found an older VIA system and thought that it would be a perfect ASL box for home use. It's an EPIA-M board with integrated NIC, 512MB RAM, 80GB IDE HDD and a VIA C3 600Mhz processor.

When I'm trying to install ASL on that box the last thing I can see is "Uncompressing Linux...", the system always reboots then. I've tried to boot the installation without any options and with the classic-option and I've set the BIOS settings to "load fail-safe configuration". I can boot up a Windows BartPE CD fine on that box.

Any idea what the problem could be?

What version of Astaro are you trying to install?

I'm trying to install v7 Beta (6.933) now, but had the same issue with the current v6 ISO from the MyAstaro download section.

I'm pretty sure the last version of ASL that supported the older Epias was v5...

That´s correct.

I had the same issue so i installed V5 instead of V6.
