NIC on eth1 down

Hallo,

I have a problem with the internet connection. I have two NICs in the machine. The interface eth0 is the LAN-interface, eth1 is the webinterface. When I starting the machine, the eth1 ist down and no internet connection is available. Then I delete the eth1 and configure it new as webinterface, I click on the activate button (green) and the webinterface is up. At the next new start of the machine it's the same, eth1 is down. I have a dsl-flat, the provider says, its all ok.
Version of ASL is 6.303. A new installation of ASL not helped. 
When I'm running the 6.302 I have no problems.
Any ideas ?

    Did you wait a little bit, it can take some time, till the DSL starts connecting. Or won't it start at all? 
    One reason could be faulty modem or a fault nic port, so they don't autonegotiat the link speed.

    thanks for answer. I have wait' some times, but nothing happens. And thats all the time so.
    The two NICs are from Realtek, I will try now two NICs from 3Com, but I must bye them at first.
    Always the NIC for the LAN (eth0) is up at startup the machine, but the interface eth1 for WAN is always down. I only can delete the interface for WAN and reconfigure a new interface for WAN, then Im activating it and its up in the same moment.
    The next I can test is another pcislot for the eth1.

    what MBoard do you use?
