Problem: When i've added the interfaces from eth1 to eth5 as standard ethernet interfaces the webadmin freezes and the computer isn't reachable (webadmin, ssh, ping).
- The default gateway is defined for the internet connection (eth1)
- Happens after any new installation on two different computers (with the same nics).
- I tried to log in to the console, but the system "seems" too busy to accept any keystroke.
- First i thought it may be a problem of shared IRQ's and disabled most of the unused hardware in both systems. Did change nothing. Even booting with only four cards did not help.
Network interfaces: 5 times 3Com 905C-TX (Everyone tested and functioning)
Firewall is an Athlon 750MHz with 512MB RAM
(Tested too on an Athlon 1800+ with 1GB RAM)
Does anybody have any good ideas?
