We are currently using astaro v5 on 2x advantech pc's, and purchased 2x new advantech FWA-3180 cases to upgrade to v6 (ha setup)
Upon installling Astaro v6 on one of the the new machines, the installation process detects the 8 onboard nics but as all using irq 0.
The other new machine, the installation program detected the correct irq's, which is weird, identical hardware and identical bios versions.
The v5 installation, however detects everything fine.
Doing a cat /var/log/messages during install shows the 8x nic's with the correct irq's (12, 11, 10, 5, 12, 11, 10, 5)
I've played around with disabling the bios settings for Pnp and ACPI, and managed to get astaro working correctly by installing in classic mode, the installation process still displays the cards as using irq0, but i can ping, access the web admin etc all ok.
With the wrong pnp bios settings and ACPI on, the same happens but the nics do not work, ie cant ping etc.
The same also happens on our existing machines, all detects fine with astaro v5, but astaro v6 misdetects the irq's and states them all using irq0.
Now is this an installation process issue with astaro?
