Using a NAT Router behind my ASG Computer

I am currently using the ASG software on a PC with 3 NIC cards.  I want to know if it is possible for me to connect 2 PCs to a typical Netgear NAT Router and then have it connect to the ASG computer to the Internet.  I wanted to have 2 layers of NATing if possible.  I am hoping that by having the one IP (The NAT Router's IP) feeding into the ASG computer, it will make rule creation easier in the long run. 
     Does anyone have any ideas on this and whether or not if this is possible or even advisable as a second layer of protection?  Would it just be better to turn off the NAT and DHCP functions on my Netgear router and just use it as a plain router instead?  I would like to create a second layer of defense by leaving them on if possible.  Just curious, thanks in advance for any responses you can give.

    It's not worth it (unless you are trying to get past 10 concurrent licenses).

    The Netgear adds nothing to the "extra layer of defense" because Astaro covers everything nicely.  You are only adding unnecessary complexity to your network by doing so.

    Should I just turn the Netgear router into a plain router (Disable the NATing and DHCP) so I can attach the two computers behind it and let the ASG computer assign a IP to it then?

    Most SOHO routers do not allow you to deactivate NAT on the WAN port.  If you mean that you want to use it as a switch then deactivate the DHCP server and plug all devices into the LAN ports.
