V5->V6 New hardware Loses network connections

Loaded Astaro 6 on an HP Proliant DL145, and all seemed to go well.  Restored backup from V5.  SATA controller and NIC's were recognized so I figured all was well.

Intermittantly, it loses network connections... when it does, netstat -i only shows the loopback, and ifconfig shows all the interfaces as up.

I didn't find anything unusual in the logfiles.

Any idea what I should look into?  I just reinstalled with the classic switch and am going to see if it screws up again.

    FWIW, we're running 6.x on a DL145 (G1) just fine.

    After looking into it a little more,

    Astaro's eating memory like crazy, and when swap (1gb) and memory (2gb) fill up, it grinds to a halt and loses network connections (after about 2hrs).  Its CPU usage is also much higher than the V5 box, which doesn't make sense (The V6 box's CPU is much faster).

    This box is replacing a V5 box that was running on 512mb ram, and restored it's backup, so the settings are the same.

    Any ideas what's going on?

    I believe the majority of the memory is taken by exim.

    Any advice on what to do?

    Running: (For ~100 clients)
    DNS Proxy
    SMTP Proxy (About 30k messages per day, using spamhaus rbl, DENY rcpt hacks, spam protection, DOS protection)
    NAT
    Packet Filter
    Intrusion protection

    The 5.213 box is using ~350MB memory used, and 100MB swap used (It's in place now).

    Plan to plug the other box in tonight and see what happens.

    I take it you're not running the SMTP anti-virus? (It can use a lot of RAM.)

    Nope...  Doing antivirus on the exchange server.

    Fixed by doing 'factory reset' and manually re-configing the box... I guess V6 didn't care for some rule that V5 didn't have a problem with.
