VPN Setup broke all authentication

Have an astaro ASG 220 appliance running 6.303 (?)....

I went in and setup the VPN services, created an account for the VPN use.. I have tested it from home and VPN works great.

however, all other access to the box no longer works. I can't login to the web interface, I can't putty into it. Nothing.

What could have happened here?

Did you by any chance modify the rights to the admin account when you created your new user account for VPN access?

I don't think I did, but I guess I could have accidentally...

Is there a way I can get into the box knowing that I can't with either the Web Admin or terminal via SSH?
