[6.303] 320 CPU usage

It may be me, but I could have sworn that before I applied the update last week (waited a while to see if there were any problems), CPU usage was low. Now it's around 70% constantly. Is it me or did this update do something?

Which of the both V6.303 did you apply.

Please log on to console and check your kernel version.

Post output of "uname -a"

Then we will go further.

Well, since I waited so long, I was hoping it downloaded the latest version of 6.303. uname -a returns:

Linux mx.######.com (blanked out for security purposes) 2.6.10-58-default #1 Thu Sep 14 16:01:09 UTC 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Oh yeah, today's report says I'm at 0.8 G memory usage. I'm sorry but this topic should have been memory usage and not CPU utilization. Prior to the update, it used to be a LOT lower.

Hi,

an high Usage of Memory is normaly on Linux.
There is no reason to be worry.

That´s correct.
kernel .58 is the good one.

Check you daily graphs about hardware and network load. You may post them here.

Which services do you run? How many users go through the ASG?
