A definitive answer on PCI Modems?

Hi Guys

I have been searching the web and the forums for a definitive answer on internal PCI modem support in Astaro 6.2. There are none on the HCL but I keep coming across web pages which suggest they do work. If so, which is the safest model to get?

My understanding is that in times gone by, before I joined this forum Astaro used to support internal modems, but not any more.
