DHCP Woes

I just installed the Astaro software version and am trying to get it up and running as a firewall. My issue is the new install is not issuing IP's via DHCP or at least I couldn't get one. I tried with a Mac and Windows box and can't figure it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Assumption, you have configured it on your internal interface?
If so, please provide the configuration details.

I have not, I don't even know what that means. I'll look at the documentation, but all I did was install it, then I got a screen where I could get to the command prompt.

Heh, well, that is your problem, then. Out of the box Astaro doesn't do much. You need to setup and configure things like the DHCP server if you want to use them.

Did you really READ the documentation ??????

While installing you put a fixed IP to the Astaro.
Now access it via browser from a PC within the same subnet like https://ip-adress

Then configure the parts of the firewall you need as told in the documentation and the how-to's
