Spam realease problems after 6.303 update

In case anyone else runs into this.  After the update to 6.303 I had to create a new service definition for the port that the spam release mechanism runs on(3840 in my case) and allow that in the  "Allowed target services" area of the http proxy config page.

    Hi Scott,

    we also ran in this problem. Customers complained, that suddenly they could no longer release their mails.

    I don't understand, why the proxy-authorization dialog opens, when you ask for URL:3840. imo it should only open for port 8080 in standard mode.

    Does this fault only happen in seldom configurations, because there are no posts in this board?

    I thought I was the only one. [;)]  We dont use authorization ..we just have it operating in transparent mode so they would just get a page saying access denied when they tried to release an email.

     Wk will you be opening a case for this through support? If you dont have support I can open one when I get sometime.

    I don't know, whether it's worth to open a case, since it seems to be only very few configurations with this problem.

    We have only 'silver maintenance' and I have another case open, which is more important and I have no reaction of Astaro since nearly three weeks.

    My first level support (the distributor) tried for one week different solutions until I found in the known issue list, that it is known. After telling them, they passed the case to Astaro and now there is silence.

    That's my simple opinion about 'silver maintenance'.

    We use Astaro since version 1.8 and have always been satisfied, but as the product is growing, the problems are increasing.

    Which issue have they been "silent" about for so long?  We normally get very good support on this side of the pond... maybe I can help.

    The issue is ID3840 'Site to Site VPN does not work after reconnect with static IPs on DSL'.
    The official workaround is to restart the tunnel manually.

    The issue is not only site to site but also for roadwarrior connections.
    I opened a thread on this board on 9/7 (https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/58/t/52577) and when there had been no answer on 9/11 I called support.

    btw issue ID3873 'Log files are blank when viewing via WebAdmin', which should be solved in 6.300 is still there in 6.303.
