NIC issues on ASL 3.303

After the new update installed and the machine rebooted I am having issues with one of the network cards.  When I watch the link light on the switch it is solid until ASL comes up then this happens...

    Same here, switched to another NIC in my Firewall (3com).
    Seems like it only happens when the e100 NIC is connected to a fixed 10Mit/HD, because i use the same card ifor my Internal NIC and there it works 10/100 auto.....

    Connection between 10MBit-Hub and Astaro-Interface with Intel E100-Adapter. Link is down since Update to 6.303. 
    When replacing the HUB with an 10/100 Switch the Link is working fine. 6.303 seems to have a buggy E100-Driver without Support for 10MBit Links ;-(

    I am glad I am not the only one with this type of issue.  The odd thing is that I am plugged into a 10/100 switch...

    I also tried plugging it into a device that runs 10/half and got a link light on the card, no system message about the link being up, and no link light on the other device...

    NIC:  Intel Pro 100

    Same sh*t here. Astaro was connect with a Cross-Over Cable to Cisco Router. So the NIC of the Astaro lost connection to the Router after installing the 6.303 Patch. Took me quite some time to figure out what happend. With a Switch between the Router an Astaro everything is working fine... I got that Tip *after* installing a fresh'n'clean Astaro V6.302 [8-)]

    Hi,

    i solved in this way thanks to astaro support:

    If you had access via console (terminal, network), you need to be logged
    in as root. Then you should try to set the interface-linkspeed in the
    file /etc/wfe/conf/itf.conf manually by adjusting the parameter:

    linkspeed = auto-negotiation

    to one of the following possible values:

    auto-negotiation
    10baseT-FD
    10baseT-HD
    100baseTx-HD
    100baseTx-FD

    After saving /etc/wfe/conf/itf.conf the settings take effect
    automatically, make shure you have no typo in it, since that may break
    it.
