How to get files on astaro

Hi,

I am a astaro V4 professional user.
I am currently trying to get a driver for my DGE-530T gigabit network card on my astaro. First thing I tried was using wget to get the file but there is no wget. So I though about ftp but that isn't available too.

So I tried mounting Diskettes and cdrom but that wouldn't work either (Just read that it is for security reasons) Using a gentoo boot cd to mount the drives don't work either.

So how can I get the driver on the firewall?

    Even if you get the drive on, I doubt it will be of any use to you, since there is no source code for the kernel.

    Either way, you need to use scp (winscp works too), using the "loginuser" account.

    It really sucks the second card a DFE-530TX isn't working also.
    Maybe I am doing something wrong so I will say how I install it.

    1. Install the card fysicly.
    2. Start the pc up.
    3. Open ssh to the pc.
    4. Login as loginuser.
    5. su
    6. go to /lib/modules/2.4.22-C1_18/kernel/drivers/net
    7. insmod sundance.o
    Result in:
    sundance.o: unresolved symbol mii_ethtool_sset
    sundance.o: unresolved symbol mii_link_ok
    sundance.o: unresolved symbol crc32_le
    sundance.o: unresolved symbol mii_ethtool_gset
    sundance.o: unresolved symbol generic_mii_ioctl
    sundance.o: unresolved symbol mii_nway_restart
    8. Modprobe sundance.o
    Result in:
    modprobe: Can't locate module sundance.o

    If you want to copy files from a Windows PC use "WinSCP".

    Please search the forum for sundance or d-link.

    I remember, there were a lot of issues with V4 and the D-Link quad cards.
    I also had one and it was useless at the end and needed to be replaced.
    They changed something on the hardware side, and so the "old" models were running and the newer ones could make problems.
