Allowing direct webadmin access from the WAN interface is not such a good idea from a security point of view. People will make brute force password crack attempts against the webadmin page if you do that.
You can quickly access webadmin from the Internet without reconfiguring anything, by first opening a PPTP connection, and then browsing to the webadmin inside the VPN tunnel. It is a simple approach that works well.
