Machine is little dead after 2 Days

Dear All,

i am using astaro 6.300 on Dual Pentium3 with 1 GB RAM and 40 GB Harddisk.
After 2 - 3 days the Firewall is not accesible anymore. If i am logon on the shell direct on the machine i can not ping anything. The networkcards seem to be down.

I do normally recieve emails if anything is down and restarted. But here - nothing.

After a reboot everything is fine. Only the load is on both CPU everytime on 50 to 70 % with confd-daemon.

Does anyone have an idea?

Please post output of "ps -aux"

and please post the size of your real memory.
Post "cat /proc/mtrr"

what is the username? root/admin/??? --> somehow not really working.

hi,

username is loginuser with the password you set during installation. for root priviliges type in su - if you logged in as loginuser and the root password you set.

Hi there,

there were webmin, shell, shell-root, acm, bootmanager at installationtime for passwordentry possible.

ssh -l root is not working --> password is known.

you have to login via loginuser, root doesn't work! root login via ssh is disabled because of security reasons.
