ADSL Connection on ETH1

Dear all
On page 161 it is recommended (tip) to configure eth1 as an PPPoE interface.
What is the reason for this? Are there any known-issues if we configure another interface as PPPoE?

hi,

you can configure any interface you want as your pppoe device. it's just an example in the manual. you can also choose eth2, eth3, etc.! take what you want!
