Since Astaro does not say anything official about the new Virusscanner I think we should open a Poll to find out what we want, because I surely want Kaspersky back.
I don't care either way. From my experience all virus scanners miss some viruses. You need to have defense in depth. I guess I would rather have a faster scanning engine on the firewall and then let my scanners on hosts/servers check it as well.

Well, Authentium sure seems faster on all the hardware platforms I've upgraded thus far... and according to a few sites, it actually has been known to catch more stuff than Kapersky.... It's a different name on an AV engine that's been around for years.. So I've got no problem with the change, haven't seen any stability or speed issues thus far.
