If you find a solution to this problem, please post it.  I'm running Novell Security Manager 6.301 and having the same problem.  I haven't been able to find a solution with Novell.  I received one notification a day after updating to 6.301 that root was at 85%.  Now it's holding steady at 83%, and I haven't received any more notifications, but I'd like to know what caused the increase.

after the astaro support has checked the system we have 77 % usage now. They said that there were a view rather old pattern-files somewhere deeper under /etc/up2date/pattern... they erased these old files. Before this action took place we had 78 % usage. Hmm...

I aggree or clean the files up corretly after the updates

Ok in our case it was a SystemUp2Date package automatically downloaded and waiting to be installed, that was causing the problem.

So check your up2date for a system update package waiting to be installed. After the installation everything becomes ok.

I Had the same Problem, but I think I have a possible solution. We have two ASG 220 @work doing a good job. But then the mail ... 86% fill up. Ok I restartet, no. No resulution, then checked all folders, found nothing.

But when doing the manual Pattern update via the update Button System -> Up2date Service ->    Latest Pattern Up2Dates [update] Lines (Astaro Virus Protection /  Open source Virus Protection ) next to view.

After this I had had 78% fillup.

only works with manual update for both Patterns, tried it with Do Pattern Update -> Start. Nothing.

Maybe this helps somebody
