[6.300] Root partition mounted at / is filling up

Don't know what it was before,
but after reading your post i checked all customers firewalls.
Each with version 

check /var/tmp for tmp files

85% is rather high. Updates, logs etc. are all reperate mounts that don't fill up the root partition. / is more or less static in size. 

74 to 76 % is normal for Astaro.

I had the same problem, weeks ago. 
Problem was a Astaro tech installed some tools for debugging and forgot to uninstall. After uninstalling these tools everthing was fine again.

How could uninstall debugging tools?

Clean install of 6.202, patched up to 6.300

rootfs                788M  550M  199M  74% /

Out of the 20 or so Astaro's I've got in my ACC system, they're all around 74%, running anything from 6.202 to 6.300.

How can I know that files exceed?

I do this.
in root directory, i do "du -m -s -c *" and the results is:

Where does the stuff is filling at?

I am running astaro 6.301 with smp-kernel and 2 1 GHz CPU.
The machine is totaly busy by doing nothing. the confd-service is using more or less than 50 -  70 % CPU-Power.

Hello Heinz,

have a look on the Shell (Linux-Konsole) with 'df', which partition is filled up. Than go to the partition and have a look at one (?) big file.

Start your try with

CD /tmp
ls -l

Can you find a big file which is starting with 'SAA.....'? WHen 'yes', you can delete this file.

this is the message of find:
fw1:/ # find . -name "*SAA*"
find: ./var/sec/chroot-ipsec/proc/32744/task: No such file or directory
find: ./var/sec/chroot-snmp/proc/32744/task: No such file or directory
find: ./proc/32744/task: No such file or directory

And what´s which the command 'df'? Which partition is full?
