change mac address of internal ethernet

Hello all,

I have a dynamic dsl service with Verizon online.  In order to receive an IP, it requires that the device asking for it be one of their "known" mac addresses.  Thus, I have to "clone" a mac to one of the ethernet adapters in my 120 box.

I have a little linux command line experience, so i followed this thread-

It works, but the mac resets to default on reboot.  How do i change this?

    If i open the link, i will be redirected to something MACos and updateproblems.
    Is it possible for you to start a script at runlevel you need?
    Perhabs you can use the program macchanger? It is free. But it needs the gcc to install bevor. After installation be shure that you deinstall gcc at all.
