6.103 Update does not install

Hi there

I received my ASG with v6.000
Have downloaded all the packages and have started upgrading one at a time
I tried all at once from the biggest but that did not work

6.103 does not want to install - I have re-downloaded it.

In the popup scree all you see is:

Up2Date Service
Thu Jun 15 13:41:15 SAST 2006

    Are you using Up2Date?  The updates are not cumulative so you will need all of the preceding updates in addition to 6.103.  I'm not familiar with the versions that far back but I'd wager that you need 6.100 first.

    I did 6.001, 6.002, 6.003.. etc 6.100, 6.101, 6.102

    Everything has been uploaded via the Up2date console. Every single update is there. 6.102 has been installed but when I try 6.103 it does nothing.

    As a matter of fact have everything from the FTP site to 6.203 uploaded and waiting to be install. Already uploaded.

    When did you download the 6.203?  I think the first one had a MD5 checksum error?  Unsure.  You may have to kill 6.203 and get ASL to resynch the up2date after removing it.  You could also try a manual upload of it.

    Search forums for instructions on removing bad one.

    Found the solution... /var/up2date was full... deleted older versions and and then it went good from there!
