network card problem?

Hi!

I have problem when i reboot or shutdown/ start up my firewall. I need unplug/plugin ETH cabel from firewall to my network (i can see green light on network card and switch). Only then i can access to the internet.

I have factory made 5 CAT cabel and 2 level one 1Gb network card.

What can be teh problem? Please, help me.

p.s: I have Realtek (10/100/100 with chipset RTL-8169) network card now in, and tested with Realtek RTL8139D 10/100 (replaced with RTL-8169). The problem is the same on both network card.

Have you tried a different switch?

Hi!

I have found the problem: network car realtek rtl8169s (10/100/1000) is the problem. I have replaced with realtek 10/100 and now it is ok [:)])
