Uplink Fail Over Daemon (ufod)

Hi,

I'm not quite content with the way the Uplink FailOver Daemon works.
Instead of failing over after one set of 4 consecutive missed ping replies, I would rather have the link failing over after say, three sets of 4 consecutive ping replies.
This way a brief disconnect or unavailable gateway won't cause the firewall to failover immediately.

I actually had my firewall in a kernel panic !! after the failover daemon was flipping back and forth over the two interfaces.

Is it possible to change this behavior ?

I already noticed the /etc/ufod.conf file in which a sleep timer has been added. This tells the daemon how big the interval is between the 4 consecutive pings.

Thanks,

Bram
