Greetings all,
I'm very new to networking. This means that I know just enough to be dangerous to myself and those around me. Perhaps you can help before I do the wrong click and destroy civilization as we know it?
What are the real, nitty gritty specifics of setting up MS Small Business Server behind an ASG 220?
Right now, I'm able to access Inet through this client and eth0. My cable modem is on eth1. I have a D-Link switch plugged into eth2. The server and several clients are plugged into the D-Link. Server and clients are not accessing Inet. And they aren't talking to each other.
Where do I go from here? How do I get server and clients accessing Inet and talking to one another? Do I need to define a network on eth2? (I tried but got cryptic error messages.) If so, how to do it?
What about NAT/Masquerading and packet rules? Can you give really specific directions?
Yes. I have read the manual--twice!
Thanks in advance! ;-)
