6.2 install problem

How many hard disks are in your system ?
It can  be an error caused by trying  to boot from the second drive.
(and have no lilo or other bootmanager on the first drive)
If so, check BIOS entrys.(Boot device), or check jumpers of the hard drive(s).

only 1 hard disk maxtor 20GB.
Jumper is right .
I installed SUSE linux 10.0 oss into it, no problem.
hardware list:
AMD sempron 2200+;
kingston 512 ddr-400;
Elitegroup kt600;
maxtor 20GB
ati-9250 
3c905B-TX
3c905B-TX
asus 52x cd-rom

Try changing the HD address mode in the BIOS, and reinstalling.

(Try LBA first, then large, ...)

I also sucsess install 6.2 when changed new hard disk.
old maxtor hard disk is problem.
