ASL 6.2 on Sun Fire X4100

Hi all,

is there a way to install ASL 6.2 on a Sun Fire X4100 Server? It complains about the missing disk. I think the SATA controller is not supported. When will Astaro support the new Sun servers? We have very good experiences with the V20z and would like to use the software with the new servers also.

Hi,

i know the problem installing VMWARE ESX on the X4100.

The problem is the SAS Controller. Try to find a suitable driver...

But installing ASG on the X4100 will be very difficult.

So we are talking about the LSISAS 1064 (http://www.lsilogic.com/products/sas_ics/lsisas1064.html) chipset which is not supported at the moment. Any suggestions?
