ASG110,possibile to attach a Serial / Usb modem?

Dear all,

We have an ASG110 at a customer site... sometimes the internet goes down and ASG cannot re-establish the connection... unless the Firewall is restarted...

Is there a way to connect an analog or digital modem to the ASG 110 so that in case the main internet line is down, we can dial in ?

Hi,
I had the same need of you :
connect an USB-modem to ASL

after some searches in the net-shops in the NET I resolve using a old computer as Dialer beetween the modem and the
ASL machine.

Hi Dave,

it is possible to connect via a serial modem to the internet.
But dial-in is not support out of the box.

To connect serial modem as back-up line with the dial-in function 3-4 years ago I used a D-Link DP602 as dial server between a serial modem and ASL.
