AF_Inet6: address not supported

Hi, got cable service with Insight Cable. Did not get IP automatically but workaround to register using an existing wireless router to use Astaro's Ext NIC Mac Addres. Configured Static IP that has been assigned (Persistent IP) by provider. Simple NAT rule, Packet Filt Rule, & DNS Proxy. 

Problem, can't browse. No name resolution. Browse the DNS Proxy log and it said, AF_INET6: address not supported, also send_msg:1038 operation not permitted.

I have a packet filt rule to allow outbound HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, & SMTP.

    Cable modems usually lock on to a MAC address, so you'll probably need to power-cycle the modem.

    Thanks Barry, I did power cycle the cable modem (even unpluyg all the cables and waited about 5 minutes before pluggin' it back).

    When I put back my wireless router, it works fine and I've check the MAC registration, it was still using the Astaro Ext NIC MAC.

    Any other thoughts?

    AF_INET6 only means, that Astaro dosn't load the IPv6 module, because it is not supported yes. Thats normal.

    But still can't quite follow you, what problem do you have exactly?
    If you connect the modem to the Astaro, you can't surfe, or dose the Firewall not communicate with the modem? Did you make a Masqu Rule?
