Can't resolve DNS

OK, I'm probably just missing something stupid, but I still can't get online. From WebAdmin or workstation, I can ping machines on the Internet by IP, but not hostname. In Network/Ping Check I get "DNS Resolution Error: The hostname either does not exist or the DNS proxy is not configured correctly."

My DNS proxy is setup as Internal Interface; Allowed Networks: Any; FNS: 206.81.192.1 & 204.147.80.5 (Qwest, my DSL ISP).

The UP2Date Service also gives "Resolving hostnames for authentication failed".

Running release 6.002.

Look at this screenshot, does your configuration look the same?
As "Forwarding Nameserver" you have to put in your ISPs' DNS Server IP.

Yes, except that after it didn't work with just Internal (Network) allowed, I tried setting Allowed Networks to Any. (still no go)

I have my ISP's Primary and Secondary DNS server IP addresses entered under Forwarding Name Servers.

I have also tried disabling DNS Proxy, but still can't connect.

And you put the Internal IP as the DNS server in the DHCP settings?
(or you have your clients statically set to use the Astaro internal IP as DNS server)

I can't get the ASL box to resolve names, let alone the workstation.

When I try to ping from the WebAdmin interface (Network/Ping Check), IP addresses ping fine, but names will not resolve.

Add localhost to the allowed networks.
