Trying to test this software. Setup a test PC, installed version 6, logged in to WebAdmin from my laptop, was following the documentation for initial configuration, and all was going fine until I brought up Eth1 (External). Then I lost WebAdmin access.
Reinstalled, same thing happened a second time. Can't even ping the Eth0 interface. Logged directly into the box, and brought Eth1 down manually (ifconfig eth1 down), but still no go. First time through I setup manual IPs (Eth0=192.168.2.30, Eth1=192.168.2.9), second time through took default for Eth0 and DHCP for Eth1 (Eth0=192.168.2.100, Eth1 obtained 192.168.2.102).
Here's more details of hardware setup:
Test machine is PII 400 w/ 384MB (wimpy, but this is just an initial test), Eth0 is Intel EtherExpress 10/100 Pro, Eth1 is Linksys 10/100. Eth0 wired to switch, Laptop wired to same switch (nothing else on that switch). Eth1 wired to wireless bridge which connects my test lab wirelessly to rest of network. Other end of wireless bridge (Belkin 802.11g DSL router) on main LAN connects to DSL modem.
Any ideas?
