Same family address on internal and external

Is possible to have the same family address on both internal and external interfaces ?

ETH 0 (INT): 192.168.1.1
ETH 1(EXT): 192.168.1.255

BTW, I wouldn't use 192.168.1.255 as IP-Address ;-)

using 192.168.1.255 as ip in a class c network is really bad. but when you use another subnett mask you might use it aswell.

As there is no number beyond 255, it would be hard to use it, without severe network trouble.
