HA error after backup

Hi, 
i have restored a couple of ASL in HA configuration.
I restored backup on first node and it went online without problems.
Then i restored backup on second node, changed node name and ip address in HA section, then save and the node has reboot.
During startup i was checking in ha section from master node for connection with slave and after a while the ha information was telling me that the slave node was online:
  Master Name/IP:     cerbero1/192.168.199.253    
   Slave Name/IP/Version:     cerbero2/192.168.199.254
   Last Slave Contact:     0 secs ago

Some other seconds after this, the master node was starting shutdown unexpectly.
After this looking at startup phase seems that sometime the starting node (it is indiferently cerbero1 or cerbero2) is taking over the master one, something else the starting node displays this error:
Starting High Availability Support/etc/init.d/rc2.d/S90ha: line 108:
2523 terminated /usr/bin/nice -9 $PROG > /dev/null 2>&1

and waiting without setting up interfaces.
The license is corrected uploaded and i check and double check cables, changed interfaces with same results.

What the error is? And what i have to check in the configuration?

    You are not supposed to restore the backup to the second node. Just make sure both machines are at the same Up2Date level, restore the backup on the primary, then turn it off. Load the secondary, give it the name and IP. Then turn it off. Turn on the primary, then the secondary, and they will replicate the configurations.

    That is exactly what i do, the nodes are same patch level, same restore backup, but they doesn't replicate and the master will bring down when the slave comes up.
    I also tryed to re-create HA configuration putting first in non-Ha mode and then reativate HA, with the same results.
    I had another problem: ipsec certificates aren't restored and the directory /etc/wfe/ipsec.d is empty. I needed to create manually directories then copy certificates from backup files to have VPNs working again.
    But HA still not working.
