It would be great if there would be some kind of input checking. A colleague just misconfigured a NIC of our ASG and the result is, that the ASG can't be reached by net anymore. Useless to say that person didn't backup the configuration before he broke it.
I can use ifconfig to change the NIC's settings, but that alone does not help. Maybe I'd need to save that settings and reboot. But how to save that....
