casper the fancy NIC is spooking in my firewall *g

i have a very strange problem:
yesterday i tried to install my astaro on a new box (athlon 1ghz, shuttle mk 35 mobo, 256MB ddr-ram). at first i put in a rtl 8029 as the external nic, additionaly a 3com 3c905 and a realtek 8139.

then i removed the realtek 8139, because i wasnt able to connect to the firewall throuth it (maybe dead?).
i replaced it with another 3com and restartet the setup, BUT:
the realtek 8139 is still there???
now i have 4 nic´s listet in my setup, but there are just 3 inside (3 astaro recognises, an onboard nic is also there, but astaro didnt see it on a first install).

HOW the hell could this be?

I think you are supposed to re-install after you change the NICs.

i certeinly reinstalled astaro after changing the nic ;-)
yes, 1000 virtual nics would be good, 1000 real nics much better *g*

i think nobody had this problem before, or am i wrong?
