Tyan servers & astaro

I would like to know if the following server of TYAN is compatible with Astaro software :

    regarding the HCL , I already checked it , otherwise I would not open this thread.

    I ask in this forum this question because I already sent an email to the headquarter of Astaro and I didn't get any response from them , so as I see it , the pre sell support is very low , and probably because of this resone I will not buy Astaro .
    I hope that I will get response from Astaro offices in this year.

    Normally, the only issue with most hardware is that the SATA or SCSI controllers may not be supported.

    There is an "IBM 6300ESB" SATA controller on the HCL for v6, so that'd probably work.
    I don't see the 8110 Adaptec SATA RAID controller however.

    ASL uses a linux kernel, so if there's been support in the standard linux kernel tree for a while, it'll probably work in ASL.

    Maybe you can d/l the ASL ISO, and take it to the a server dealer and ask them to see if it'll get through the hardware detection stage.
