I'm at V6 Release 6.004. I try to update to 6.100, it goes through the process and everything looks fine. Then it reboots and KABOOOOM. System down. Get these errors:
FATAL - Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.10-24-default/modules.dep.
nothing else works, can't get into box. Can't get into web interface. No IP address configured on box. Nothing.
So I pop the CD in, rebuild it, hoping that my SAVE file will magically put everything back where I was prior to the problem.. And it leaves about 1/2 of all my configuration behind. Never to be seen again. No Packet Filter Rules.. 1 Interface is not defined. I pretty much have to rebuild the thing from scratch.
What am I doing wrong. Right now I'm stuck back at 6.004 not knowing how to proceed.
