ASL frozen

Hi,

My ASL (V 5.209) worked fine for month (including former versions it worked fine for years), but now the ASL gets frozen nearly once a day, and i have no idea what's the reason (the logs/monitors do not indicate an error).
At the console, following lines appear before getiing frozen:

login:
confd[11238]:Loading module core
confd[11238]:Loading module v4config
...
confd[11238]: unknown XML parsing error
confd[11243]: Reload V4object /opt/tmpfs/running_itf.conf
confd[11243]: Saving repository:
confd[11243]: Version change detected: 98432
confd[11243]: MDW wakeup


At this point only a hardware reset helps. The system then reboots fine and runs stable for the next 20-30 hours, and then the problem described above arises again.

Anyone ideas ?

    This is clutching at the proverbial straw. When you have it back up and running, save the configuration and shortly after do a restore. It looks like it is taking a dislike to your V4 config.

    Strange, but I have the same unknown XML parsing error

     Tooday, My NSM/ASL server hardware has broken down and I have to reinstall from 6.002 ISO image file and downloading up2dates to version 6.303 by many houres. (Stupid Novell has not published newest ISO file)

     
      I load my last autobackup file and restart machine but after that I can't get to webadmin. When I login to console I saw only loopback interface with IP address via ifconfig.
      I run “/etc/init.d/factoryreset reset” and I try with older backups file. When I found one backup file about many months old then I can get to webadmin.
      

    I found unknown XML parsing error line in /var/log/confd.log file:
      confd[2953]: Loading module core
      confd[2953]: Loading module v4config
      confd[2953]: Loading module network
      confd[2953]: Loading module service
      confd[2953]: Loading module mdw
      confd[2953]: Loading module packetfilter
      confd[2953]: Loading module licensing
      confd[2953]: unknown XML parsing error
      

      Strange but Factory defoult don’t delete License Strings. (Novell uses strings but not files). Just in case I paste my license strings into the text area by one license string per line from notepad and save, but unknown XML parsing error still generate.
